appearance:

aerie has the typical appearance of a small, innocent, and carefree filly. although her actual age is uncertain, she seems to be frozen in the body of a yearling filly. her face is a mixture of all the different breeds that run through her veins, although it resembles that of a mustang, and her eyes have a wild look in them that just screams 'stay away'. her mane is short and wild, not growing out of the foal style and her tail is almost 'puffy'. her coat is sleek and her body is stream-lined, just screaming 'speed demon'. her legs still maintain that gangly teenager look, but are surprisingly graceful and sturdy. the sleek coat that covers her body seems to be a plain bay from far away, but as you near, several shades of red are noticed and you can detect a slight leopard print pattern that is actually skin deep.

personality:

aerie is a very sadistic and mentally insane creature, but she is also cunning and, at times, almost caring. when aerie is feeling sadistic, she doesn't seem to care what pain she afflicts in the attempt to get what she wants, she even seems to try to inflict as much pain as possible. she uses her pain to inflict the paralizing pain upon those who she needs, or wants, something from. she is mentally unstable, even insane, and could be compared to someone with multiple personality disorder. she talks to herself and calls herself by several different names all the time. she is very cunning and can work her way into almost anyone's heart, or out of any sticky situation that she may find herself in. when she is feeling rather caring, she will often use her second gift to numb the pain that her victim is feeling. no matter what, she always feels sorry for what she has to do to sustain herself and hates having to do it.

magical powers:

aerie has several strange abilities that she has been gifted with. her first ability is the ability to inflict intense mental pain upon others. this is only mental pain, but could also be classified as an illusion, and causes no physical harm. she also has the 'antidote' to her first power, she can emit a strange mist that numbs all pain and paralyzes the victim until she decides to let them go. her third gift is the ability to put her throughts into the head of another creature by a simple touch. her final gift is that she never seems to age. she remains in the body of a yearling, but she ages mentally and is reproductively mature. the problem with her first two gifts is that she can be blocked by someone with the power of a mental 'shield', her third gift has no flaws, and the problem with her final gift is that mind readers can see through the facade and know she is not a yearling.

history:

although not much is known about the long life of aeire, it is known that she is something like the human fable of a 'vampire'. she has to feed of of the blood of others to sustain herself. she uses her abilities to imobilize her target and then sucks their blood until they are nothing more than a lifeless corpse. if they happen to break free, they may escape with their life, though. she now wanders here looking for fresh, new prey.
